Charles F. I. Savage connect with Charlie on LinkedIn

Charles F. I. Savage, based in Denver, is the Chief Executive Officer of Zerista.

Before founding Zerista, Charles helped launch a successful, world-wide startup company called Ubisense that provides indoor location tracking technology. Prior to that, he was Chief Architect for GE Energy's Substation and Automation & Network Reliability division. As Chief Architect he was in charge of the technical direction of a number of GE software products including Geographic Information Systems, real-time control software for utilities, outage management, and network design and optimization software. Prior to becoming Chief Architect, Charles managed the Internet. Development Group for Smallworld (later acquired by GE), which designed, developed and delivered an Internet-based mapping application server. Charles is also a Founding Member and Manager of the Saber Fund, LLC, a small Denver-based hedge fund started in 1998. He holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Stanford University.

John Kanarowski, based in Denver, is the President of Zerista.

John manages the sales, marketing and business development functions at Zerista. Before Zerista, he was a Regional Director and National Accounts Director at Merced Systems, a leading provider of Sales and Service Performance Management software. While at Merced, he helped grow revenue by more than 100% annually for four consecutive years. Before that, he was in consulting and alliances roles at Siebel Systems (now Oracle CRM). Before that he managed sales, marketing and business development at iDeal International, a venture-funded online auction company. He has degrees from Harvard Business School, Univ. of California, Berkeley, and Dartmouth College.

Mr. C. Warren Ferguson, based in Texas

He is an aerospace engineer (BS Univ. of Texas 1961; MS SMU 1967) with 44 years of business experience, provides leadership services to growing businesses. He serves as a director and/or advisor to corporations and private businesses as well as mentor to top-talent individuals and a coach to leadership teams. His career has been rich in building new technology businesses; both corporately - for Texas Instruments (TI), Smallworldwide plc (SWLDY) and General Electric (GE) - and as the owner of several businesses – including Ferguson Map Company, Ferguson CartoTech and UltraGraphics. Currently he is the non-executive Chairman of the Management Board of Ten Sails LLP and Chairman of Ubisense LLP, a leading UWB precision indoor location company based in Cambridge, England. He has served on the Board of Directors of Mapsco, Inc. since 1996 when they acquired Ferguson Map Company. Mr. Ferguson recently completed serving four years as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Schreiner University. Mr. Ferguson retired in April 2003 from General Electric where he had been President and CEO of GE Network Solutions, following GE's purchase of Smallworldwide, plc (SWLDY, where he was President and CEO). Experienced as a leader, manager, and innovator in the applicatiob of geographic/spatial technology and sensor systems to energy and communication companies as well as commercial and public organizations worldwide, he was a founding director of GITA and has presented over 100 papers/articles and has chaired four major conferences.

Mr. Guy Letendre, based in Utah

Experience with several key leadership roles ranging from Managing Director in The Netherlands to Vice-President of Airbag Development; providing guidance in operations, marketing, supply chain management and product development for Autoliv, Alexza Pharmaceuticals and Rocket Research (now General Dynamics) brings the Kick Start Fund extensive operations and product development experience with an entrepreneurial spirit. Guy is currently a principal at CGL Solutions; providing operations, product development and business development consulting services. Guy has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University and a M.B.A. from Utah State University. Guy was a founding member and chair of the Northern Utah Manufacturing Alliance (NUMA) and currently holds director positions with the GOAL Foundation and Equa Inc.
